Usually I'm not a "Surf Art" addict, especially when it comes to painting, but there are a few exceptions. Wolfgang Bloch is one of those.
Wolfgang was born and raised in Guayaquil, Equator, he then immigrated to the USA in Pasadena, where he studied art first and then design.
He worked afterwards for several compagnies in the surf, car and even bike industries as an art director and designer.
Today Wolfgang does what he likes: he paints.
I like his minimalist style mixing different techniques and materials, showing his visions about surf and his sometimes frightening atmosphere.
